Resolute Therapy

about me

I made the decision to train as a psychotherapist at Regent's University, London, after experiencing a number of challenging events in my personal life. I originally come from a visual and performance art background which I continue to pursue alongside my therapy practice.

I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for several years, working with clients seeking therapy for a diverse range of issues. I am now undertaking further training via an Advanced Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy. I worked at Metro Centre in their targeted LGBTQ+ counselling service, and am currently an honorary therapist at the Terrence Higgins Trust and at CASA Alcohol Service. I also have many years experience of working as a mentor within Disability Arts settings.

I am comfortable working with the broad range of challenges that we can all experience as human beings and that people may want to bring to therapy. Identifying as a disabled, bisexual woman and an immigrant to the UK, I have a particular interest in the minority experience, gender, sexuality, disability and identity. I am a LGBTQ+ affirmative, as well as kink- and poly aware therapist.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (membership no. 866717) and adhere to its ethical framework. I am also a member of the Society for Existential Analysis.
